ARN'ULD JOINS CLEESE AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS

Arnold Schwarzenegger and British actor-comedian John Cleese will play cameo roles in 'Around the World in 80 Days', based on Jules Verne's classic book.

Schwarzenegger will re-team with his Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines producer Hal Lieberman, who is producing 80 Days with Bill Badalato, the trade paper Variety reports.

The movie, which headlines Jackie Chan and Steve Coogan, began shooting in Thailand and moved to Studio Babelsberg in Germany this month for a three-month shoot, the trade paper reported.

Oscar winner Jim Broadbent is on board. And Kathy Bates recently signed to play Queen Victoria. Other cast includes Johnny Knoxville and Belgian actor Cecile de France (Who he? Ed.). Frank Coraci (The Wedding Singer) directs, from a script by Michael D. Weiss and David Titcher.

In the multi-Oscar winning 1956 movie, David Niven starred as English adventurer Phileas Fogg.

When he's challenged to prove his contention that a man can go around the world in 80 days, he bets his entire fortune and leaves with a new butler on a world tour. In addition, the bank of England has been robbed. Is this Fogg's way of avoiding arrest? The detective following him believes so, and his butler is becoming unsure.

"I'm back... but who ist dis Steve Coogan?"
