WELSH ACTOR HAS NON-FATAL 'ATTRACTION' TO OIRISH BROSNAN

What is it with Hollywood and lawyers in general and divorce lawyers in particular? Seems like they're the new rock starts so maybe that's why there are so many movies featuring them.

Welsh actor Michael Sheen (no relation), last seen in the ill-fated epic remake 'The Four Feathers', has joined Pierce Brosnan, Julianne Moore and Parker Posey in 'The Laws of Attraction'. The New Line romantic comedy revolves around two New York divorce lawyers who fall in love.

Sheen will portray a rock star who hires Moore's character to oversee his very public divorce from his wife (Posey).

'Laws' is being directed by 'Peter Howitt ('Johnny English', 'Sliding Doors') and begins production next month in Dublin before moving to New York.

Sheen can next be seen starring opposite him former live-in partner Kate Beckinsale in Sony/Screen Gems' vampire dark actioner 'Underworld' out in the UK on 19 September.

And he's also popping up on the Paramount adventure 'Timeline' and director.. Stephen Fry 's 'Bright Young Things'.

Busy chap that he is, Sheen's also appearing as Caligula at the Donmar Warehouse Theatre in London and is simultaneously shooting the starring role of Tony Blair in Stephen Frears ' 'The Deal'.
