'PRIME' TIME FOR BULLOCK AND STREEP
Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep are teaming to star in "Prime," an indie romantic comedy set in New York.
The funny, perpetual hot girl from next door Bullock is in need of a monster hit. Whether it's this is moot.
The film plots around the emotion and humour that ensues when a 22-year-old painter from Brooklyn falls in love with a 37-year-old career woman (Bullock) from the Upper East Side.
Streep is attached to play the Bullock character's therapist. The part of the painter has yet to be cast.
Ben Younger ("Boiler Room") will direct from his own script. The project is being produced by Team Todd sisters Suzanne and Jennifer Todd, whose credits include the "Austin Powers" franchise, "Memento" and "Boiler Room."
Bullock recently re-upped her Warner Bros. Pictures production pact while also signing on to star in a sequel to "Miss Congeniality." Streep next stars in HBO's "Angels in America."
