BULLOCK & FRASER 'CRASH' INTO SMALL INDIE FLICK
A bus load of A-List stars are crashing a small indie flick.
Sandra Bullock, Brendan Fraser, Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillippe are dashing into "Crash" which is due to begin shooting Monday in Los Angeles.
Also on board for the indie project, which is described as being in the style of "Pulp Fiction" and "Traffic" are Thandie Newton, Larenz Tate, Nona Gaye and rapper Ludacris. Don Cheadle was previously announced as a cast member.
The film follows a multiethnic ensemble through the streets of Los Angeles as they careen in and out of one another's lives. (Haven't we seen that already from Altman and Anderson, Ed.) Even more actors are expected to be announced shortly.
TV veteran Paul Haggis will direct from a script he wrote with Bobby Moresco. Haggis's last project was the short-lived "Mr Sterling" - another in Hollywood's long line of golden glow series of Democratic Party agit-prop masquerading as a TV show.
