| BRAD RENFRO DONS THE 'JACKET' WITH KNIGHTLEY AND BRODY |

Brad Renfro ("Bully") has landed a supporting role opposite Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley in "The Jacket".
|
The thriller flick is scheduled to begin shooting next month in the England.
The project centers on a soldier (Brody) convicted of murder who, during his treatment in a psychiatric hospital, begins to believe that he is traveling through time. Through his time travel, he searches for a woman (Knightley) he met as a child and is fated to love.
George Clooney and his production partner, director Steven Soderbergh , are on board as producers via their Section Eight banner, along with Peter Guber. The film will be distributed by Warner Independent Pictures, the new arthouse arm of Warner Bros. Pictures. John Maybury ("Love is the Devil") will direct.
His credits include the excellent 'Ghost World' plus "Deuces Wild", "Sleepers"... and a Florida court appearance last year when a judge sentenced him to rehab for 90 days for violating his probation by getting arrested for drinking and driving. He was already on probation for trying to steal a yacht. Nice boy who clearly went to the Robert Downey Jr, School of Charm.
