From
the Jules Verne novel... Fineas Fogg - an intrepid explorer
from Victorian London places a bet that he can travel
around the world in 80 Days. A preposterous claim at
the time. En route he encounters a motley crew of cultures
and a travelling companion Parspettou. |

Will
it fly? Brit comic Steve Coogan is relatively unknown
in the US. He won't be when this is released and he's
hailed as the next Peter Sellers. (Something he's been
in the UK for the past 10 years.) A timeless tale with
a winning cast. Can't fail I suspect. Though it appears I was wrong. Ho-hum. |
