Prequel
to the 1994 Farrelly Bros. comedy hit, Dumb and Dumber.
Neither Jim Carrey nor the Farrellys are involved. Set
in 1986 when mentally challenged best friends Harry
(Olsen) and Lloyd (Richardson) were teenagers, this
is the madcap comic tale of their attempt to get out
of the "special needs" department and into
regular high school life. (Guzman plays the school janitor
who adopts Lloyd; Levy plays the school principal; Rogers
plays Harry's Mum; Oteri plays a cafeteria worker-turned-special
education teacher.) |

perfectly for the summer 2003 young, big, loud, crude
and stoopid crowd (Of which I am a proud member, except
for the young part of course,) Will this work without
the inspired lunacy of the originators? Hell yes I guess. |
