Set in the cut-throat (literally) world of New York City real estate, the dream home of a couple (Barrymore and Stiller) is a converted duplex apartment in the perfect neighborhood. To realize their obsession they decide to kill the sweet little old lady (Essell) who's currently living there, or else they'll never get to buy it.

In case the plot of plotting to kill a little old lady sounds familiar, remember the 1950s Ealing black comedy, The Ladykillers? You should do, as that's also being remade by the Coens with Tom "I Support Gray Davis" Hanks. (Memo to Tom - get with the program on Davis, bozo.)
