A contemporary romantic comedy about a high school teacher who meets and falls in love with a successful businesswoman. Although their lives are vastly different, the relationship seems perfect until the baseball season begins and she has to compete with his first true love: the Boston Red Sox. |

No doubt there'll be howls of outrage in the UK that there's a US remake of the Colin Firth flick original. Big deal. It's not as if the Brit version is any sort of classic, Just a mildly amusing tale about soccer obsession. I assume this will be a mildly amusing tale about baseball obsession. Though with two real funny pro writerslike Ganz and Mandell on board, it should have its comedic moments. And it is the Farrellys!! |
