Washed-up
1980s pop star (Ferguson) gets a chance at a new direction
in his life when he discovers that he has a teenage
daughter, Olivia (Church), in Cardiff, Wales (her real-life
hometown) as the result of a weekend affair he had back
at the height of his fame, especially when she decides
she wants to follow him with a musical career of her
own, against the wishes of her mother (Redgrave). |

If
she can act like she can sing, then Brit Charlotte's
bid for world domination (ie. cracking the USA) is well
under way. Of course, there's always the possibility
she could suffer the same fate as the other Brit...
Britney Spears in the god-awful Crossroads. However
I doubt it because 1. It's a safe project. 2, Craig
Ferguson. 3. She's already 15 going on 35 and is very
canny. |
