Set in a near future besieged by global freezing and the the disappearance of gravity in Uganda, this is the story of two separated lovers, one of whom is a famous ice skater (Danes; her lover will be played by Phoenix), who are reunited in New York, eventually going on a road trip which helps them rekindle their relationship. The PR release says it's the story of two lovers' attempt to save their relationship in a near-future world on the brink of spiritual collapse. Amidst sudden flaws in the laws of nature, where people drop dead in the streets of New York and Ugandans become weightless, John (Phoenix) and world-famous ice skating star Elena (Danes) sign divorce papers, only to realize that love is a cause worth fighting for. It's All About Love is a fresh take on modern love and future life as two lovers battle a conspiracy of cosmic proportions.

Have
you ever read a more fey plot? Could be totally wrong
BUT... this sounds like the sort of precious arty-farty
clap-trap that critics seem to love. It also helps actors
tune their instrument. Expect about 10 people and their
dogma go see. Seriously - how does rubbish like this
get money behind it? Even the trailer page is an artsy
'FLASH' movie. I hate this on principle. |
