Veronica Guerin (Blanchett) was an award-winning journalist for Dublin's Sunday Independent, whose investigations into the city's drug underworld puts her in increasing danger... resulting in her murder by the IRA.
This has been on the shelf for some time. (It was shot before Blanchett was pregnant with her child who is now almost 2) One of the reasons, one assumes, being an identical movie released a couple of years ago.
